Multiplexes In India

The multiplex revolution has come a long way in India. Since the start of the first multiplex at Saket in New Delhi way back in 1997 by PVR Cinemas, there have been a series of multiplexes that have set up at various malls throughout India.
Some of the most recognised multiplex operators to set up business are Inox, Shringar Cinemas, Fun Multiplex , Adlabs apart from PVR , which was the brainchild of Ajay Bijli, the CEO and managing director of the company.
