Continuing with Multiplexes!!

Multiplexes are definitely one place where people are frequenting these days as weekend getaways. But what about weekdays?? More critical question is what percentage of the total Indian population are frequenting multiplexes?? An investigative analysis reveals that ticket prices definitely needs a look-in so far as the cineplex operators are concerned. It will not at all be a bad idea if the operators cut down on their expenditure relating to interior decoration while they are going for setting up new multiplexes and thus pass on the benefits of cost-cutting to the public in general by charging lower ticket rates.
Under the present circumstances, they can look at innovative ticket pricing strategies which can encompass a larger section of the Indian cine going audience.
A proper strategic initiative if taken by the cineplex operators can actually create a revolution of sorts in the Indian movie exhibition business.

Multiplexes In India

The multiplex revolution has come a long way in India. Since the start of the first multiplex at Saket in New Delhi way back in 1997 by PVR Cinemas, there have been a series of multiplexes that have set up at various malls throughout India.
Some of the most recognised multiplex operators to set up business are Inox, Shringar Cinemas, Fun Multiplex , Adlabs apart from PVR , which was the brainchild of Ajay Bijli, the CEO and managing director of the company.
